    Thumbs up Brightside Coatings

I recently decided to get my rims powder coated and did some research on other local shops after looking at our sponsors. The only reason I went out of my way to find a different place to powder coat my rims was because of the color I wanted. The color required a two-step process and raised the price up significantly. I chose Brightside Coatings because they quoted me a price that was unbeatable and they had some great reviews on other forums. They were also the only shop that I contacted that had experience shooting this color. I dealt with Mike, the shop owner.

I dropped off my wheels 2 weeks ago knowing that they were swamped and wouldn't get to my wheels until the week after. We agreed that the turn around would be approx. 3 weeks. I was in no rush. To my surprise they began working on my rims earlier and actually finished a week ahead of schedule.

My rims were sandblasted, primed, base-coated and cleared/candied.

I would HIGHLY recommend Brightside Coatings to anyone looking to get anything powdered. They also do interiors! Very professional, awesome communication (contacted me every step of the way), quick turn-around and they have countless samples of colors for you to choose from.

Take a look at the results below. The photos do not do the color justice! If you see them in person, try taking a photo with your iPhone. They'll come out Mag Blue. If you're wondering these are going on a CWP!

I'd normally say what have you done by ruining the set of Works. But this is a nice colour. Kudos for being different

I've been in contact with them before - and they have no problems doing GB's
Price is roughly the same as Quys.

Pricing changes on size of rim, prep work invoved, clearcoating options, color, etc.

Thanks everyone! Just got my tires mounted today. I desperately need to clean my car before I put them on...

Broxn: It really depends. If you're looking for a just your black, silver, white with clear I'm sure it's cheaper but I would suggest calling to confirm. He had to order my color in. YGPM.
