    Smile A new Mazda 3 owner

    Hello;
    I recently bought a very clean 2009 Mazda 3 and am looking for a few advice.
    I like to purchase a bug/hood deflector to prevent paint chips and am wondering the pros and cons. I also have not been able to locate one online for my car as of yet.
    Also, the previous owner of the car had a rather large dog whose hairs/smell I am struggling with. Anyone has a tip to have the backseat restored without paying for a detail job. I have tried Fabreeze with no avail.
    Thanks.
    Ben

    I personally say if your hood has 0 chips, pay for clearshield/ventureshield. My hood deflector broke in two places over the course of a year and a half and started grinding down on the grill and scratching up my grill.

    bug deflectors are useless. If you have the money, pony up for a 3M clear bra from a tint shop (look on sponsors forum) it's much better by far, and lifetime warranty.
