Hopefully I'll have a new DIY soon

Thanks man. Truth be told - it was a $10 Jobmate (Crappy tire knockoff) that pretty much broke after 4 uses. Figured I got my money out of it - so didnt bother trying to find a receipt and returning it.

    FINALLY!!!!

Originally, I wanted to upgrade to leather, but Mazda never came out with Beige Leather. And I really like Black and beige combos

08 seats with rear center armrest conversion, and custom Doorcard inserts

May not be everyones cup of tea, but now that the knuckles have stopped bleeding, I can honestly say how much I love it.

Door card inserts DIY COMING SOON!

LOL! Thanks! Heated seats is definitely an option for this winter. Especially after seeing the set up in Phil's car

Thanks. Same here. Brings out the euro luxury classiness to any car.

That's cool. I knew there'll be some nonbelievers. Especially seeing as everyone moves up to black leather - and I go beige cloth. LOL

But if I were to do a reupholster job - it would've been in red alcantra. Which is a $2500 job.

This upgrade cost me a whopping $30 and about 7 hours to do. ($14 for fabric and $16 for the adhesive spray. I got the seats for free from zakman)

and i'm not a fan of leather as it sticks to your back in the hot weather so clothe is a def. plus

    Trust me. LoL
I couldn't find fabric that matched perfectly to the seat pattern/color. But after an hour at Fabricland, I realized how cheap fabric is. (avg $10/m) so I figured what the hell

I tried to get a Burberry pattern, but the guy wanted $120/m. (even suede was only $28/m) Seeing how easy it is, I may be changing the insert yearly now. LOL

Thanks for the honest feedback though.

    Now the question is.....what's next?

    Thanks chan7.
I kinda wish it was beige leather now LOL. I think it wouldve pulled off the "classy lux look" I was hoping to achieve. but as prey mentioned, it's very uncomfortable (for me at least) during the summer.

I did re-spray the lip along with the eyelids I dug out from under my bed. Another DIY job, so unfortunately it didn't have that high gloss look. But neither does the rest of my car so it kinda worked out LOL

Going to refinish the headlights then throw on the eye lids. I'm just tired as **** right now from spending the afternoon at Wonderland with my little girl.

Here's a pic of my newest mod
Wish I could find a DIY on it

    Ah yes.

Mods on the Mitsu have been put on a temp hold until I figure out the direction I'm going on it. So far though, my plans are to identical mods to the 3.... I got the yellow LaminX on the fogs, OEM GTS spoiler, 8000K HIDs and the amber side markers. I got the OEM GTS rims waiting for TPMS sensors and tires and I got the caliper decal and paint waiting to go on.

    Pics to follow

The two tone looks good, I like the contrast between them, and the headlights look 1000% better.

I am swapping H3 seats into my truck this weekend and installing the heating element as well (my buddy does heated seat upgrades) hopefully without any trouble.

    Thanks for the compliments!

I assume you're keeping the stock rails? I'd love to see the final product. Make sure you measure the widest part of the seat and make sure it fits. Also, start the process early enough that you can make a run to a shop in case you need a part, etc.

I started late in the day, and ran into a little snag. Thank god I was able to catch Crappy Tire before they closed
