    Thumbs up IGARAGE

So I heard of this shop from reviews on ClubRSX and TPC, and it seemed to be a very good shop.

Ivan, is the owner of the place and works on your car most of the time. I took my car in to get my header installed. The price he quoted was amazing, $70 without 02 relocation and about $100 with 02 relocation.

This review is a bit different tho, because he couldnt finish the install. He got stuck at removing the 02 sensor. It appeared to be seized, and he tried a lot, even with the torch before he gave up as he did not want to risk damaging the sensor.

Now after about 3 hours (lot of time spent on trying to work with seized bolts), the car is put back as to how it was. Thought he was going to ask for some cash, but no, he insisted i dont pay a penny.

This shows me a lot about the mechanic. He said its not my fault that it was seized, and even though he spent the 3 hours on my car, he couldnt charge me. I know mechanics who would try charging "diagnosing" fees, and other crap.

Ivan is a stand up guy, knows his stuff, and is very friendly. Talks about everything thats going on with the work, and is very laid back fair person.

Too bad he couldnt get my header installed. But would definitly go back to get other work done.

from reviews i seen, seems like he specializes with hondas forsure
But he told me he has worked on the mazda3s many times but he has more speed3 customers
He was telling me how his family has owned a Protege for about 10yrs and how he had a Mazda in the past too, so he does seem familiar.

But yea, Ivan does not seem like the guy who would try doing something if hes not comfortable with it. I feel very confident about his work.

This guy is amazing!!! I went to get end links installed and for him to check out a knocking noise... if I tell you how much he charged me I think he would put other businesses out of work.

    Amazing guy, price and workmanship!

Will be going there in 3 hours to get my MS3 exhaust on. First impression on the phone was great as i did call him yesterday at a abnormal time when his shop was closed (9:30pm). He still picked up(my guess is that he linked it to his cell). A quote was given of $70 and was told that he can schedule me in for tomorrow at 3pm(which is today) and also a installation time of 1 hour. All in all he gave me a really professional impression and well mannered. Kudos to Ivan. Will be leaving my feedback after i come home from the shop and a video for all u tm3ers.

Yesterday @ iGarage. Ivan put my car up on the lift. He couldnt install my exhaust because of a welding issue, the mechanic that cut it to uninstall it from -cj-'s car was a total idiot. I asked him if he knew any shops that were close by that i could go to, to get a welding job done, so he sent me to LG Auto Exhaust specialists down the street from them. Those guys did a superb job as i was watching because i had nowhere to go. Thanks Ivan and the guys at LG Auto.

    Ivan is GREAT!

I just went to him today because i heard clunking noise from the back of my car after having my mazdaspeed sway bar installed for the front and rear. My old mechanic tells me that it's the shocks that are gone and needs replacement.

Turns out that my previous idiot mechanic didn't tighten my rear sway bar and Ivan was able to do that for me.

I was expecting to pay when Ivan told me not to worry about it I was shocked and I couldn't be more happier!

He's definitely a very trusted mechanic and I'm going to go there from now on for all my services!

Had my rear motore mount installed at iGarage last week. Ivan was busy working on another car, but the other who who works there (can't remember his name now, sorry) got my mount installed pretty quick and he did a good job. Ivan also ended up charging me less than he originally quoted, which was really nice and unexpected. I'll definitely be going to iGarage the next time I need something done.

    Ivan @ IGarage is OUTSTANDING!

Finally got my noise issue resolved so he checked it out and did minor changes for 0.00!!! I too was expecting to give in some cash but he refused to take my offers. I was very impressed at how fast and confident he was to pinpoint the problem. Very knowledgeable and great to deal with and talk too. He also kept complimenting on how clean my car was . Kudos to Ivan

Ivan is amazing. His prices are extremely low for labor and he gives you parts at cost!! What more can you ask for?
The first time I went there was a couple of months ago since I own an RSX and clubRSX raves about him. I called him because my brakes were squeaking and since I hadn't changed my pads in a while I assumed I needed new ones. He offered me new pads over the phone at cost and labor was extremely fair as I'd called around previously (his price was 100% cheaper than the next best). When I came in he inspected my car and instead of telling me I needed the brake pads he ordered for me he told me that I actually don't need new brake pads and that my pads are just low quality, changing them would be unnecessary for the purposes of my vehicle. He charged me nothing. NOTHING AT ALL!
I even tried to pay him but he wouldn't accept my money. So: he ordered brake pads I didn't end up needing, wouldn't take my money for inspecting (and driving) my car, and even inspected the rest of the car to make sure everything was in order. Honestly, mechanics like Ivan are not a dime a dozen and I challenge you to find a bad review.

I know I'm new here but I am so happy with his work (I go regularly now) that I would love for him to get the business he deserves.

Oh, and the reason I'm on this forum in the first place is because I'm in the process of purchasing an MS3. When I called Ivan to ask him if he is able to take a look at my prospects he obviously agreed. After having done some research on the car myself and considering purchasing an 07, I knew there had been recalls. When asked about the car I told him it was an 07 speed 3 to which he replied "You know those cars had a lot of recalls? You gotta look for ones with new rear mounts and I'll make sure the turbo isn't leaking"

I was extremely impressed to say the least. So yes, to answer the question prior - he does know his mazdas.
