    Default Sirius Reception Issues

Anyone else having Sirius reception issues recently? I've read around the Sirius forums and it seems like things have been getting wonky ever since the merger. They all recommend verifying the antenna connection since it apparently can get loose. Now, my only problem is where is the Sirius module located if you have a factory kit? All I need to do is unplug the antenna and plug it back in.

Does anyone know where it is?

I don't even pay for mine and I have zero reception issues.
On Gen1s it is located behind the glovebox, tucked underneath the dash. Could upload a pic if you want. It is probably in the same spot on the Gen2s.
Canada gave us rust and DRL. Thanks for nothing Canada!

I had a free trial on my truck and it also had very spotty reception. Crystal clear, then 100 feet down the road it's crap, then fine again, etc.

Reception used to be awesome but now I'm getting random signal dropouts. I'll see if I can find more information before I start taking things apart. Thanks! I wonder if there is any kind of diagnostic screen that will at least show signal strength?

If signal drops out randomly, probably going over bump or on rough road surface, antenna MIGHT get loose.

I own 2014 Tucson as my shop shuttle car, it came with XMsirius. If I drive a lot in the city where high rise buildings are, signal drops out.

It really depends on where you drive the most.
