For 2012 they also will have a Indigo Lights Mica (similar to 2009's Stormy Blue). The colour has been out in the UK already but this is what it looks like on a 2010.
Looks kinda like "electric blue"
Kinda but a bit darker.
The "Indigo Lights" is nice, but I'd be happier if they brought winning blue back.
Would be kind of nice if the added green back into the palette as well... Got a forest green mica Axela in GT5 and it got me thinking.

Look what I found... interesting info on upcoming changes to the 2012 Mazda 3.

Interesting....The Multi Information Display (MID) and liquid crystal display (LCD) also received color adjustments, changing from the red text and graphics of the current model to an easier-to-read white. On the 2012 MAZDASPEED3, the silver touches also replace the current red-accented graphics and the silver decoration atop the shift knob has been removed. The entire shift knob on the MAZDASPEED3 is now leather-wrapped. The parking brake knob also is wrapped in genuine leather, establishing a unified coordination that lends the cockpit an even sportier air and gives the MAZDASPEED3 interior additional sophistication.

I like this ... better than the sensors mounted onto the side mirror pods like the Ford vehicles ( and assuming they look similar to the parking sensors). The BSM system ...24GHz radar sensors located at the rear of the vehicle aim to detect approaching vehicles within a range of 13 feet to the left or right, and within 26 feet from the rear.
This would drive me nuts while driving, as I usually put my signal on before I actually change lanes. If a turn signal is activated while the indicators are lit, they flash and a buzzer serves as an additional warning.
Cheers,
Rob.
updated with accurate Canadian info...
Damn you photobucket.....
Thanks Jeff!
While the blue looks classy and all, I'm glad I have a 2010 with the red interior lights (gauges, clock, etc). Much nicer on the eyes while driving at night.
EDIT: OSHI- Just noticed Gunmetal Blue Mica is removed as a colour option!!! I'm limited-edition now! Ahahahaha~

Am I dreaming?!?! The moonroof is now optional on the GT for 2012 with or without the GT-E package ?
Finally, WOOHOO!!!!!!

Nice to see the GS-L gets fogs and illuminated entry.
Looks like a pretty solid lineup
2011 Mazda 3 GS Sedan Graphite - Luxury (Leather)
2011 BMW X1 in Alpine White - NAV Package | Premium Package
Are there any ballpark figures yet?
The incentives for the 11's are running rampant now.
Just wanted to know what the prices will be for the Skyactive stuff compared to the GT trim.
Perhaps this might be an interesting read for many.
Unique and good POV.

Enjoy
Well, the skyactive stuff is the most up to date stuff Mazda is offering. It focuses mainly on providing the same level, if not better, of performance, while using less fuel than the current 2lt setup.
Looking at the trim level, the GS Sky gives up very little to its bigger sibling GT. It's got a 6speed auto that behaves closer to a true manual box than the current 5 speed auto offered in both GS/GT trims.
The engine is lacking 10hp from the bigger GT engine, but the fuel economy and torque make up the difference from the bigger engine.
According to all the articles, it'll be interesting to drive one in real life. So far everything points to the Sky range being sold very nicely.
We'll have to wait and see.
