    Default plasti dip whole car

    how much plasti dip is needed to do the whole car?

    and no im not doing it ... just wondering

    30????? lol. Depends on how thick you lay it down. I know when i did my rims it was 1 can for 1 rim.

    I used 1 entire can just for my spoiler, so i'm sure it would be alot!

    It took like 7 to get a good thickness on my roof.
    That guys is probably super thin

    If anyone wants to do it.. dont cheap out on the layers... what a pain to get that stuff off!..

    i did my rims all four took 1 can and did half my hood about 1 1/2, i was just trying to see what it looks like and you need a lot of cans to make it thick so it look better

    Yup...if you read on the thread...the guy only did one layer, and it took him forever to remove it

    It's been done a few times now. There is a Mercedes rolling around Toronto dipped.

    Do not remove with power washer.

    I only did this once, but some part of my plastidip is rough, some part is smooth, anyone got any tips in making it smooth?

    I read that less layer will make it more smooth?

    I beleive one of the first guys to do it, the G37 used 1 can per panel.

    IMO, waste of money.

    Probably since there is no consistency on the quality of the work (smooth or rough), you'd waste money spending it on the cans of of pasti dip. Add the work/pain to remove it and possible of paint damage, the costs could be much higher higher than a few cans of paint.
