WTB: RX8 18" Wheels!

I'm looking into buying my Spring/Summer setup a little early this year so I can use my stock 16" rims for the winter. So I'm wondering if anyone has or knows anyone that is selling a set of RX8 rims. Help a brother out

Also, it's my first time buying a set of additional rims, so what is the recommended size for these wheels if I want a little stretch and poke?

Recommended tire size for these rims are 225/40/18 if your lowered. If not, then 225/45/18 is also fine.

Will the 225/45/18 tire rub on a lowered suspension with the RX-8. I just bought the rims yesterday and still looking at some tire options.

Depends on the drop. 1"-1.5" should be ok but you'll most likely rub at full lock and with cargo in the trunk.

If you want stretch and poke with rx-8 rims get 215/45/18. There will be no stretch at all with 225s.

Yes you could.

45 series will throw off your speedo vs. 40 which is the "recommended" profile for 18's.

i have a set as well, 2 wheels are in great shape & 2 wheels have curb rash - can easily repair and touch up the paint, or send the set out for power coating
