I meant to put on the title 2012 Mazda 3 sorry
I don't believe any dealer has the sky in stock right now. As for the 2012 GTE, an absolute blast to drive and in my opinion a great package for the features included.
The blind spot monitoring took a few days to get used to but that's because I've never driven a car with this before.
Nice I bought a 2010 last week and I'm financing it but I was wondering if you can exchange for a new car or does it only go for user cars? I have an exchange program for 30 days
Any idea on a release dre of the sky?

Exchange program?? awesome.
If i were you, get the 2012 GS Sky... good fuel and good enough performance.
Keep this for now, you can always trade it in for the sky later on... an upgrade if you will
power isnt similar, theres still a 20 lbs of tq difference. and its a big difference.
the sky engine is awesome and is definitely adequate in the power department, but it still can't be compared to the 2.5
12 hp and 20 lbs tq make for a peppier engine lol.
the main complaint i keep on reading is the transmission is very slow to react to downshifts where as when you want to access that power and you're in 5th gear lets say, you have to mash the pedal to the floor to get any reaction from the tranny.
read up on it. yes it is killer in the fuel economy, but the fun factor is tuned down alot. The 5 speed auto tranny on the 2.0 and 2.5 i find are very quick and responsive, ive driven tons of automatics in this segment and the 5 speed is on top in the mazda
2014 Mazda3 Sport GT
the 2.0 engine has 148 hp and 135 lbs tq and when i test drove both the 2.0 and 2.5 it was between night and day. so the bump in 7 hp and 13 lbs of tq is awesome, but can still feel a little flat when merging on the highway etc...
As of late last night.. Mazda Canada has removed the 'hold' on the SkyActiv units.. Up until now, if a dealer recieved one early they were asked to return it to allow a simultaneous release..
Keep in mind that only Automatics are available right now.. the Manuals began production this month, so they should get here sometime around Christmas..

Damn you photobucket.....
I hope it wasnt your only Test Drive vehicle??? We have One...but we arent selling it just yet...Strictly for Test drives until the SEA Status gets put onto DLR-RAL.
Funny enough, not many dealers ordered 2011 GT CX-7`s with Nav in White, I thought that would be a hot item. The GX`s are in hot demand though!
