I'd put it this way because education, job security and finance are somewhat interrelated. If you have top notch education, job security and financial stability will most likely be set (that's if nothing grave happens and you're not suffering from gambling problems). With the first 3 set and stable, family and friends will be stable as well.

Well, ideally.. Since we're living in an unpredictable world, all things are unpredictable but still controllable somehow.

I guess being in my mid 30's, having a family, having a somewhat established career re shuffles your priorities lol.

I believe that family is #1, because regardless of the fact if you re jobless or have little education, your family will always be there to support you. And as rzapata mentioned education is the building block of job security and finance.

As a student right now, I gotta get my education down. Like mentioned before, job and money will come with education. Not worried job security at the moment. Obviously this list will change soon.

When they burry you, not much else matters than friends and family so I have them at the top of my list. Friends, Family and Education can help you net a job through networking and finances give you the ability to move around and try different opportunities so i have job security at the bottom of my list.

I agree, though not yet mid 30's yet (33 and holding onto early 30's)

When I was in school I thought it was really important and like others have said would lead to a good career. Now that I have been in the working world for more than a decade I can tell you it is a bit over rated. Yes my education helped me get my job, but that’s about it.

In business its more about who you know than what you know.

no doubt.. my education has nothing at all to do with what I do for a living, in fact i often have trouble having educated discussions with anyone here ( at my job ) on topics other than the task they deal with on a daily basis.

My breakdown, Family is the most important thing in the world to me, cant overstate that enough, I am merely a role player in my little girls life and I could'nt be any happier, My wife is truly my best friend and team mate that stands beside me through every thing. Without being financially sound i simply cant have the quality of life that my family depends, and deserves. ( my wife is the real bread winner in my home lol but my salary is a good 40 percent of the whole ). My job is that means to the financial security as stated above. I have a solid core of friends that are more or less dealing with the same order of priorities ( thats the trick to friendship, if you are all seing these in the same *similar* order then you will remain friends, as soon as someone starts shuffling them around it becomes too complicated ) so all is good there, and education is a lifelong thing, you keep learning, but it really is relative, its more about adaptability.

Family and Friends always come first for me. Because when everything else goes to shit - they're the ones that'll be there for you.
Good education leads to a good secure job.
Without a secure job - there will be no finances

The fact that I'm pretty much good with education; faith, family and finances (coupled with job security) are most important for me.

    hahaha.... I remember this topic

    1. Family
    2. Finance
    3. Friends
    4. Education
    5. Job Security

I chose family first because my parents have always been there for me, and my family means the world to me. Finance next because I want to be able to provide for my family, put food on the table, and keep a roof over my head.

Friends are important to me as there are alot of life's obstacles I wouldn't have been able to overcome if it wasn't for them. Education is important as I need to keep the brain active; not so much in terms of schooling... but just in terms of the quest for more knowledge. I put Job Security last only because in the field I'm in, jobs are a dime a dozen. The turnover in I.T. Consulting and Sales is very high.

Would rate education higher if I could, learning is incredible and it should never stop! Unfortunately the 3 that top it do for very good reason.
