Btw, n00bMeister. Injector seals only apply to direct injected motors. The older MZ3s are port injection.

Oh damn, I granny shift pretty much everyday. I don't even push the car much especially now that the stupid tires won't grab! Duly noted, "drive the car the way it is meant to be driven."

On that note, a NATOR compression test session will defintely be useful and educational.

I was going to change my spark plugs last night since it wasn't too bad outside, but didn't....I knew I should have.

The car cannot accelerate in 1st gear if you put your foot down...I'm really hoping it's the plugs

Terapro can get the 2 kits (EGR and bushings) to have a look at to see if he can make them, I have no doubt that he will be able to since it's pretty basic and he haz teh skillz.

then we can figure out how much it'll cost to have them made and who's interested etc.

Ok let's talk to Ice_manF1 see if he'll let you have a look at the bushings he has. I believe he lives in Oakville so if you're in Port Credit you guys aren't too far apart (I'm really speculating here)

After doing mine, FMIC's are a pinch and I've done the shifter bushings before as well.

I have a Cobb RSB that needs to go in.

Scratch that off the list. Super easy to do......lowered cars sucks bawlz to work on.

I can try to answer that.

Well, biggest dilemma is hydro-lock if you don't know how to do the stuff. This is sort of like a "no room for mistakes" thing. Plus, seafoam is an alcohol based substance that will thin out the oil. They say on MSF that if the oil thins out further, there's a chance that it might seep in the combustion chamber. Also, it has a high chance of fouling out the spark plugs and o2 sensors. However, they've also reported a lot of good things about it that they did feel some sort of improvement in the car's responsiveness and acceleration. Plus, when used with DISI there's a chance that it won't really clean up the gunk that's built up already (which makes sense because let's face it, gunk is stuff that's been solidified on the valves and a simple fluid might have a hard time dissolving that).

Try googling "seafoam on mazdaspeed 3," there's a couple of threads there from MSF that'll pop up. Personally, I'm not sure if it's a YAY or NAY. But I just wouldn't do it unless experts like the MSpeed guys would recommend them (although there's a guy on MSF that said he's used it on a lot of cars all were positive results).

Most of the stuff I said here are quoted from peeps at MSF.
