Hmmm... I was more scared being on scooters than I have ever been on my motorcycle. Things on 2 wheels are more stable at higher speeds. Plus the short wheel base, steep front rake, and the lack (in most cases) of something to grip your legs onto, make them even more unstable.
Get her onto the back of a motorcycle and she'll love it.
Plus... there is some sort of analogy about scooters and bigger women. haha

Frankly, I'd love a Multistrada or a Diavel [why not both?!]...and a Scrambler for running around town, but yesterday's news about these 2 makes one curious about the Japanese offerings in the horizon...

I'd rather be passing cars than being squished beside in one lane with one.
No way that can be safer

^^ its got alot more power than i thought... lol. the torque made it a bit harder to get used to, but i didnt want to get off the bike today so i kept at it, and now pretty comfortable. nxt mod, woodcraft clip ons.
@Booter22 I ordered spools, tank pad, and integrated turn signals/tail tidy. i dont have ig, can u link me on fb? plus, which exhaust is it, akro or yoshimura or two brothers? gonna be doing power mods nxt yr with a -1 front sprocket. plus, it looks like the powercommander software is so easy to tune, only like 2-3 maps lol.
Can someone who is fluent in french (or a friend/family) in Ottawa-Gatineau help me out (I will compensate you for gas and time)? I spent time and money on a trailer, carproof and gas with the intention of heading out to Gatineau only to find out last minute the bike has a lien on it. I still want it but I'm just curious if there are other things the seller hasn't disclosed before I make the voyage. The bike was claimed to be paid off (he was going to pay off the lien after I gave him the money ) and in mint condition.

done, thanks.
it is a supermoto. With the exception of highway cruising, it is much more accessible and versatile on and off the street than a sport bike in terms of insurance, maintenance, durability and performance. I plan to track it and eventually get a set of knobbies to go off road.
Those bikes can usually be ridden on highway no issues.
That was my original plan for a bike.
I don't know how Quebec registration goes but if its been green plated it can't be ridden on the road (except between trials)
For quebec, if its above 50cc and can go faster then 70km/h, then its a motorcycle. if not, then its a moped/scooter.
those are the only different plates you can get. the price of the plate depends on the CC of the bike though. if its above 400cc and its a sport bike, then the plate costs you a fortune.

Supermotos are ridiculously fast. I rode street for 3 yrs and track only for two. I was up against a lot at track days and they keep up. They stop fast, turn quick and decent pick up. It's just long straights that you stretch a little. On small tracks like shannonville they will be up your butt all day. Even as mosport until the long straight they stuck with me on my. R6. But that's just me. Maybe I was slow and sucked. Lol
