Have fun with that! Peter doesn't run Learning curves he likes to act like he does but he doesn't. Him and his wife do a lot of the teaching and to be honest his wife has no business teaching motorcycle safety. I know they are a bit cheaper but it's worth the extra cash to take a course at Sheridan or Humber.
this may be true. i havent taken any other courses. or any at all yet. but they both got the m2. lizz got her bike and rode it a bit last year was very happy and confident. her dad recently purchased a bike at the show last weekend as well so it should be a good up coming season. i would suspect i will go to learning curves based on the recomendations from the two of them and the price ive been told. just preference. plus i think at sheridan or humber you are limited to dirt bikes where at learning curves they have the 125 ninjas, 250s and a few other bikes as well.
i havent heard anything bad about the bikes. ive seen what they used when my gf went for hers on the first day. they were in decent shape for a training program. but they all functioned well and had brakes. soo... no sure how they could teach you if they didnt function or have brakes. but we will see if / when i go to them in the spring.
try to do it in the spring
summer is a bit to hot for that
you spend the whole day riding in the sun in gear
no brakes well small lunch
i've been involved in setting up fleets for bike courses, and they are almost always in great shape.
mamy years ago there was issues with junk, as the courses had old/used bikes, but nowadays, its different
all the main rider programs keep very close tabs ont he condition of their bikes. they want you to succeed.
and yes, peter just thinks he runs LC
i took the Sheridan course (Oakville campus) they had mix of dirt bikes and Honda CBR 125s. I rode the 125 its a great bike for basic learning
So how many of us are considering doing the course this spring/summer?
If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1,000 MPG - Bill Gates
I say we do it up. I doubt there will be any group rate at humber, but still.
If I'm in the province, I'm in.
Cool. Let's work out a date.
