Stay safe out there if you guys are taking your bikes out
yep, gotta be super careful the first few weeks into the season. had the bike out today, and hopefully again tomorrow. that new exhaust sounds so nice
my videos all sound terrible, because they're taken with my cell
here's the best comparison video i've sound so far
So i just picked this badboy up! I had my heart set on a DRZ400 but i just couldn't pass this one up...
2010 KLR650 with 10,000kms
New tires, new battery, heated hand grips, upgraded skid plate, crash bars, USB power, back / side racks, panniers, gas tank bag. Also came with (Conveniently all in my size) Jacket, pants, boots and a bomb ass helmet.
Final price, 4500$ !!! And my insurance is going to hit about 580 for 6 months, with comprehensive from a third party for 330/yr
The excitement is real

boring, slow, but dead reliable, and itll last forever, good bikes!
i might be looking at a DRZ this year or next as a fun dual purpose mountain bike

Pictures screwed up and i cant seem to edit it.. Here's one from the other day, and one from the end of last year!
How are you getting 6 month policies?
Modifications? I've forgotten more than I remember. Click here for the list.
The regulation in BC is different, its all done through ICBC (Gov't) and there are some weird differences. I can do 3, 6 or 12 months.
That 580 covers just my liability. I will be getting a third-party policy to cover my bike / gear / fire / theft and i quoted that at about 330/year for that
Exactly. I can get the comprehensive through ICBC but the premiums are about 40% higher than other third parties
I've put 600km's on it in just about a week, having a grand old time booting around. Did a good ride on Sunday, 15km highway to a FSR, 75km's up it and 75km's back down. Saw a wolf for the first time in my life and MAN those things are MASSIVE
Cheers!
time to revive this thread.
