Would you rather a 2008 Mazda 3 GX hatchback 2.0L with a CAI and maganflow exhaust, or a brand new Kia Forte Koup SX 2.4L?

I'd try out the Koup Something different and a rare find on the road . Although I never really was a Kia fan, I think this car helped them out a bit
Assuming the Forte is manual, and the colour is left up to you, I would go with that.

Hey, if you like the Kia Forte & really enjoyed the test drive then make the switch. It's all about what makes you happy. Personally the kia is not for me. but hey, to each their own.

As said above, take em both for a drive back to back, consider what your payments are/will be etc and go from there.
If you gave away the aftermarket parts for free or a reduced rate, I'm sure a member would come take them off for you and re-install your stock stuff. Remember, the greater number of people interested in your car, the better chance you have of getting closer to your asking price. If you limit it to people who want a slightly modded car, you may not get as much, so that little bit you paid to have the parts removed can net you a lot more in the end. You gotta think big picture sometimes.
I assume you own the Mazda currently... unless the Kia is your dream car and you've been waiting for months to buy it, then I'd step back for a few weeks and really think it over. Test drive a few other cars that compare and if you keep coming back to the Kia... well then its the one.
It's funny how fast new car love goes away once its sitting in your garage for a while and the payments seem like they'll never end. Just make sure.
Check out reliability of Forte in lemon-aid book also kia's depreciate much quicker than average...but it is a nice looker
wow, veloster turbo, i completely forgot! thanks for that reminder dude haha
and everyone else, thanks for the friendly advice. Such a great forum (usually )
But hey, not dissing my mazda 3. This car is my baby. I just got so dissapointed once i realized i had a 2.0 when the whole time i thought all hatchbacks in those years were 2.3's.
Another thing, how do other companies manage to get 156hp and 24/32mpg out of a 2.0L but mazda needs a 2.3L that gets lower mileage? beats me !
id go with the mazda, zoom zoom
2008 Copper Red Mazda 3 GS
Brand new is brand new but then again......the price of an SX would probably get you a brand new GX or GS. I guess.....
