Hello everyone,
My name is Jonathan Del Vecchio and I work as a service advisor at the New Whitby Mazda. I've worked for Mazda since 2007 and have always enjoyed the Mazda 3 as a fun-to-drive vehicle. Anyways, I sat down with management and told them about your community here and convinced them that its time we made a presence in here.
A few things I wanted to let you guys know about (And I'm sorry that this will sound like an advertisement).
First, we have finally upgraded from our... shack/cottage/dump on Highway 2 and have moved into our brand new facilities at the intersection of Consumers Rd and Sunray Dr. Most of you on the east end will know that this move has been a long time coming an we were well overdue for the upgrade. I welcome you all to come and check it out.
Second, we will be hosting an open house on March 6th between 7 and 10pm. The topic of the evening will be Motor Sports. It will be hosted by members from the Oshawa Motor Sports Club who will be giving talks about Performance Driving, Autoslalom, Time Attack, Ice Racing and Road Racing. There will be some race cars on display on some of the hoists so you can check them out. A few vendor booths will also be set up. I welcome anyone with an interest in Motor Sports to join us for the evening.
Third, we would like to get involved in making your Mazdas unique. We're going to start by taking a 2012 Mazda 3 from our stock inventory and having some fun with it, like new rims, lowering springs and the like. We'd like to have her ready by the Open House. Personally, I love this kind of stuff and I am glad to see Whitby Mazda finally getting involved in it.
