When concerned about the snow, just drive a little faster.....keeps the flakes off the rubber

Flakes won't hurt sh*t, it's the salt and slush that are the enemies

One of my most hated sounds while driving is being behind a salt-truck (or on a freshly-salted road) and just hearing the salt crumple and hit the tires, undercarriage, wheel wells, sid---aarrghhhh I can't bear thinking about it D:

Just drove from Guelph to London. Scariest drive of my life. Saw around 30 cars in the ditch along the way. Ice pellets and slush. Doesn't help that I'm currently on bald RS-As.

Just enough to stick to some edges of lawn's and roads. Steven, I'm on almost bald RS-A's too its alright driving, just drive cautiously. No big rush!

Actually as long as the temperature is below freezing salt wont hurt, it is when the temperature gets above freezing that all the damage occurs. That is why the worst thing you do for your car in winter is to park in heated garage.
Heat and humidity accelerate the corrosive process. So as soon as the weather warms up to stay get the underside and wheel wells pressure washed.

Wouldn't you say it's still like driving on rocky roads though? They would chip away at the paint around the wheel wells. And some of us have no choice but to park it in a warm garage. I can't carry a bucket of water with me everywhere I go
Not to mention, even if it wouldn't spill, the condensation would probably rust the inside of the trunk on a Mazda..
