Take a look at the chart above. Make sure your FP is within those specs (or exceeds them).

So I ended up going Cobb SRI and picked up an accessport. I'm running stage 1 OTS map and fuel pump seems to be holding strong at ~1600-1700 psi. However, during the install I noticed this in the stock EPDM tube:

A lot of gunk build up. Has anyone seen this before or know how it could accumulate? What is that secondary pipe coming off the main SRI anyway?

If anybody has a more accurate answer, please feel free to correct me.

Looks like a valve cover breather hose. It has something to do with the PCV system - said system being in place to relieve the pressure in the engine by venting the air out of the crankcase and back into the intake to be re-used. This air has oil/gas mist in it and is supposed to be 'burnt off' by the engine for environmental reasons, but it really ends up making gunk like the above pic in various places where it is not supposed to be.

One solution for this is to install an oil catch can. Once this OCC is connected to the PCV valve, the vented air is delivered to the metal catch can. This catch can has mesh filters inside to condense the oil/gas droplets into a liquid. Another hose comes out of the can and routes the cleaner air back to the intake manifold.

I recently cleaned out my OCC and it's unbelievable the stuff that it catches - it oozes out of the can like black sludge and stinks of gas. See phil's pic below:

Above is a pic from when Phil (Thrizzl3) cleaned out his OCC. THIS is the stuff that gets shot back into your intake manifold by design, for environmental reasons.
