    Default Wheel Spacers

Started looking into wheel spacers, just curious what size/specs guys are using?
    I have a 2007 Mazda 3 Sedan. I have 16x7 Borbet BS-5 wheels currently.

    Thanks

    Depends.
I'm not running them, but I will give you a few suggestions
If you're not lowered, then don't use them. It'll just look silly.
With 16 x 7, I think that it will look even sillier because of huge sidewall height.
I assume you're about +42. You could probably go 20mm and still be fine with rubbing, but it would be hard on everyones eye's to look at it.
Modifications? I've forgotten more than I remember. Click here for the list.

I plan to buy H & R coil overs in the winter but not sure what the set up will be.

first buy coil overs, then larger wheels with a more aggressive offset, then spacers.

16's aren't that bad. There are some great looking 3's on 16's. At stock height, they'll look much better than 18's too.

If you're sticking with the wheels for a while, I might suggest going with smaller tires, maybe 225/45's.

Edit: the above advice only applies if you're lowered.

Get the coils first. 16" looks fine, 'big' sidewall and all, lowered.

This is from first hand experience (16x7, +42 with 225/50/16 tires).
