what kinda of gas do you use and find best?

First in English, then in French. End result is $1.30 for 87 when today I paid $1.33 for ultra 94

I never gave it too much thought and fill up where it's cheap so Pioneer or Global. And sometimes at Costco.

As for higher octane I only got it a few times (where they ran out of 87 and were giving out 91 for same price ) but I noticed every time that the car was acting more aggressively lol

Ive been buying goodies on native reserves across canada for 15 years and still have yet to be asked for a card.

I buy cigarettes for people every week in oshweken, i gotta check the gas prices next time(not that they have 94 but w/e just for shits n giggs)

They must card sometimes, some places tho...maybe during peak hours

I don't know about smokes to much cause I don't smoke but my dad buys his smokes from their with problems.

As for the gas that's the price for everyone... I think the natives get it cheaper with their band card.

sounds like guelph needs an ultramar! how often do you guys run 91 or 94 ( if your so privileged to find it)? i try to once a month or so, just to burn up any gunk that may be in the cylinder.

If you want to clean up the insides of the engine, try Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant. It works great in both gas and diesel engines. I use it all the time in my transport truck.

i use to use this but i havnt had much difference in anything... i use the big bottle and squirt it in every time i fill up. dquirt in about a small bottles worth. also heard that these might cause the spark plugs to foul a bit

I get 91 octane for 0.84 cents / liter approximately at the Ambassador Bridge Windsor / Detroit crossing ... not much difference in gas consumption or performance though.

ya I use Petro Canada almost exclusively as I collect Petro points. (the 5 cent per liter fuel saving card is awesome when I have enough points) and I usually get 91 octane and if they have it 94. I find the car runs better I find I get better fuel economy and greater performance. (it shifts better/easier) I notice a huge difference if I put in 87 now...I let my sister use my car for her g2 test and she filled it for me after but put in 87 and the car just seemed to hate me until I got that crap out of her system :p now she loves me again!

Ultimately IMO there is just no comparison between the lower grade gas and the high octane.

I use Petro too, but that card isn't really worth it. You should just get the CIBC Petro Points card, save 2 cents a litre instead. I have it, and use it for every tank you're better off getting washer fluid with your points or something in store. The card takes 15000 points to get and only saves you $10. I think it's 5000 points for washer fluid. And that's worth 5 bucks.

I have never calculated it out before...is that all it saves me?? That's a bit of a buzz kill :p thanks for bursting my bubble haha it always felt cooler when I used it.
