Default Invisible Glass Cleaner Foam by Stoner

On sale now at Canadian Tire for $5.49 is this Invisible Glass spray foam by Stoner. I picked it up along with a 3 pack of microfibre cloths and decided to try it out. Wow, so very easy! Simply spray it on, it foams quickly, and you wipe off. I found it ridiculously easy. Since it's currently on sale, I highly recommend trying it out.

Stoner is good stuff. Safe for tint. If you have a Costco membership they sell 4 of those cans for $12.

I'm pretty sure that's the one I have, and I highly prefer the Armour All streakless compared to it

i used this for all my glass surfaces. had to wipe down a second time with a dry MF cloth to get the streaks off. and pretty good leaner and theres plenty of it in the can. also sprays a mist so itll last for quiet a bit

I have it too. I find it very easy to use but I notice a lot of streaking when the sunlight hits the glass at a certain angle. It really pisses me off lol because when I clean the glass it looks perfect then when I go for a drive and the angle of the sunlight changes and I notice the streaking.

I use it with the Simoniz green microfiber cloths for glass. I also have rain-x on the windshield so maybe that is affecting it somehow...

I found that it seemed like it was leaving streaks, but if you leave it alone the streaks disappear.

i would get these sun streaks and they stick pretty good... the streaks on ym sunroof stilll havnt gone away yet and its been about half a year. just wipe/rub the streaks with a new microfiber cloth and it should get it off... as for rain-x.... i find that they leave a very sliiiiiiiiighty greasy film on the window... i dont use it anymore but during rain season, boy does that stuff work

Yeah I wipe them off with another dry glass microfiber cloth. But it's a ****ing bitch to get them all off!

I want to try something new and see how it goes. The Kleen Flo glass cleaner seems to work well, so I might try that one next.

Yeah I'm not sure if the Kleen Flo stuff is safe for tints. I'm gonna have to look into that.

I stopped using the Stoner's Glass spray, always had issues with weird streaks and left over film. I bought a bottle of Windex which stated on the label, "Safe for tints" and the stuff works pretty good, atleast no weird leftover film. Can't remember where I bought it. Most likely CrappyTire though.

as long as the cleaner is ammonia free, its pretty much safe. i heard a vinegar and water mix works too.... not too keen on the smell tho.... another cheap solution would be a couple drops of dish water soap in a spray bottle with the rest being water.

Canadian Tire does have a Windex brand spray in the car care aisle which is for windows etc. You'll have to double check if safe for tints is on the label though.

Never had any problems with Invisible Glass. I even used a cheapass $1 microfibre cloth for it and there was no streaks left.

Never ever use windex on your tints. or any sort of cleaner like it. That's how you turn them purple.
Rubbing alcohol and water mixture, or water with a very light amount of soap, or one of those specialty cleaners designed specifically for tints.

It's the ammonia in Windex that ruins tint. Windex does have an automotive-specific ammonia free product which is safe for tints.

But the household brands are bad for it.

i prefer the Stoner's squirt bottle as opposed to the spray, but both work great.

i have one of these that I use as well, really helps to get into the corners of the fron windshield

Ugh it's convenient at first but once those stupid things get dirty it leaves even more streaks. My windshield looks horrible in certain light. Don't think I'll be buying this stuff again, will probably try tint-safe Windex.

I saw that thing and didn't buy it, but am thinking i will to help clean the inside. Contorting myself to clean that front glass is ridiculous! For only one easy payment of $14.95 I can have the freedom of movement my body was designed for!

I've used both the aerosol cleaner and the cleaning 'tool'. Both work great for me.

I know not everyone likes that tool - but it works for me. I actually bought it for use on my Accord coupe as both front and rear glass are a bitch to clean and get into the corners.

When the microfibre pad gets dirty, I just throw it in the wash (with no fabric softener) and it's good as new
