I went to my girlfriend's sisters place today and was looking for a parking space in a busy area. I finally thought I found one and saw this:
Seriously? After I found another space I went back and moved it onto the sidewalk for them.

A colleague of mine does this with her moped/e-bike/whatever and I always laugh. I don't think she knows she can park on the sidewalk...
Got a variety of OEM Mazda 3 parts that need to go, thread coming soon, PM me for details!
Fixed the picture.
Update!
So I went out onto the balcony and watched as the e-bike owner talked to the guy that was parked in that space that I made available. By the time I got back outside to clear everything up they were both gone. The e-bike owner looked like a scraggly middle aged drunk.
I've noticed a trend that losers with impaired charges seem to be buying these things to get around the fact that they can't drive anymore. I'm not one for making new laws, but these things need to be licensed and insured in my opinion. When they don't even bother to take the pedals out of the glove compartment, you lose the excuse that it's just a bicycle.
I think they should license bikes. And frankly make those delivery bikes have insurance.
these have alarms dont they? wouldnt be too hard to pick one up and chain it to a tree LOL
Honestly - if someone ever touched my property - no matter what reason - I'd be ****ing pissed.
That being said - I wouldn't be too worried about pissing off a moped driver LOL
This reminds me of a time I parked my motorcycle in a spot at Tim hortons. But the role of you was played by a stupid Tim Hortons manager that thought I needed my park my bike anywhere but that spot so she could park her car there.
So what if that person drove their car and parked there... Wtf is the difference? Get over it.
where was this? usually you can park these scooters and other motorized bikes ( not motorcycles) in he side walk in downtown. but if you live on the outer edge and i think you have to park like everyone else
As someone who rode a motorcycle as my primary mode of transportation for 2 seasons, I think I have some perspective on this issue. A motorcycle is a licensed and insured vehicle that is designated for use on public roadways. If there isn't any specialized spaces for motorcycles, then taking up a regular parking space is perfectly acceptable. I even used to park with other bikes in the same space just to be nice.
An e-bike is defined as a bicycle. It isn't licensed or insured and it can legally go anywhere a bicycle can. They are meant to park where bicycles park.
Motorcyles can take the spot.
E-bikes can **** right off, and you can quote me.
Most e bike riders seem to pick and choose what laws they obey when it suits them and it is seriously annoying. Not to mention they are slow and FOR THE LAZY.
Yeah these things have to go... This morning, there was this e-bike slowing down the right lane causing congestion. Other drivers had to go around him.. It also doesn't help that there are other schupid slow drivers blocking the passing lane.
so you upset because you had to go around them on the side of the road? thats how they are supposed to be used. just the same as a bicycle. i get that they never follow the rules and should not take up a parking space. yes i agree they should be insured and licensed. but to complain because you have to go around them on the road is completely ridiculous.

I think you misunderstood. Should have said that this guy was taking up the right lane.. I know they are supposed to be on the side of the road like other bicycles. This one is in the centre of the right lane.. How do you think the congestion started? Other cars can't get by him because he's hogging the right lane.. If he was on the side of the road, I wouldn't be yapping about how he started to cause traffic congestion.
last year i saw some lady flying between lanes and between cars on eglinton. then when she would hit a red light she popped up on the side walk and go through the red on the side walk. i rolled down my window and yelled at her, she called me an ******* and said i need to read the "rules" book lol. i laughed pretty good and told her shes a moron.
