    Huge piece of advice:

Cancel your plans of getting one if youre going to go into a forum without google searching these things first.

    How do i know?
    - because its there. Search, and Read.

My poor gen 3. She got rear ended but I'm just glad I wasn't one of the other guys. Wonder how much a bumper replacement actually costs

Rear bumper I recall being around $400, plus paint. Assuming the foam underneath is fine and bar is not bent.

My wife's 2014 is coming up to the 3 years in less than a month. Mazda sent her an email if she wants to continue Mazda Road Side Assistance. The map update is also expiring too. What are your suggestions on renewing any of these?

The dealer told me to replace my ATF in my 2005 based on mileage (not duration).

The dealer uses a machine to extract the ATF fluid instead of opening it up and risking seal issues. Apparently "sealed transmissions" are standard now.

Has she used it in the past? as well as do you have CAA? And for the maps, do you have a smartphone that can use GPS? Or do you have a GPS system?

This thread originally started to provide info to the then-new 2014 Mazda3. Yes, it changed over the years...

But you'll get quicker responses and more helpful advice if you start your own thread with the correct subject - at least people will know what you're looking for when they scan subject lines.

I'll just be doing a drain and fill then, I hate for my tranny to go in just a few years.

Hatchback owners.....If you are interested in the Knight Sports rear bumper hit me up today. Looking for anyone who would like to place an order at the same time as me so that we can bundle the shipping. Note: it will take 12 weeks to get to Canada and price is in the $700 CAD range.
My Parents bought me more Hot Wheels than Barbies when I was little...

Anyone swap their brakes yet? Deciding on whether to do OEM or aftermarket. Noticed some rusting on the OEM rotors on them already and a buddy of mine said that's common with OEM but not after market

Yupp swapped mine to drilled and slotted brakes, rusting on rotors in our country/province will happen on OEM or Aftermarket.
