Default JBR Intake MAF Cal and Map

    Hey guys,
Ordering this from JBR soon, just waiting on the GB details. I was wondering, what map I should be loading for it?

I went on the MSF to get information for the "JBR Wide Path intake MAF cal". Seems like everyone is doing the 1.66 multiplier to start off with, in order to run the intake in general. Anyone around TM3 have any experience with it yet?

Here's a quick way to get started. It's not gonna be perfect, but it's a start.

If you already have a MAF cal for your current intake, you can take the JBR MAF's inner diametre and divided it by your current MAF's inner diametre and use that as your multiplier.

Ahhh true, just use some ratios! Any ideas as to what OTS map I should start with? I'm going from the K&N to the JBR.

What map are you running right now? Did you do a MAF cal for the current map? If so, start with that one.

Otherwise, find out what the inner diametre is for the K&N and use the MAF from a map that has the closest matching inner diametre.

    Current Map: Stage 1 + K&N SRI
    Calibrated MAF = Yes

It looks like the pipe from the stock and K&N are the same size.

Future Map: Stage 1 + K&N SRI +TIH (plus new calibration accounting for pipe size)

That right? gotta add the TIH because the JBR has it all-in-one.

I don't think the TIP will affect the MAF calibration, it may have a small effect, but you'll have to MAF cal it again anyway.

I'd start with the map you have now, and then just add the "piping factor" to it for the JBR SRI, and then do another MAF cal to fine tune it.

Sweet! Thanks for all the help, hopefully people can use this for future JBR intake installers.
