Default 2010-11 Racing Beat Power Pulse Exhaust with Race Pipe

I just wanted to do a write-up for the 2010-11 Racing Beat Power Pulse Exhaust with a race pipe. This is paired up with a Corksport SRI. I know there are some members that may be interested.
When I undertook this mod, I seriously didn't know how adding a race pipe would sound. RB axleback is a pretty quiet exhaust and while I loved the tone it left me wanting a bit more but I wanted it to be quiet on the highway. I think this is what I got with this mod.
Well, suffice it to say I really like how it sounds. Adding it pronounced the deep tone while maintaining zero drone like it was when there was no race pipe.
So here are a couple of videos.

Starting it up with no revving. No drone.

Yup. Same deep roar but louder but still no drone. Exactly what I was looking for.

It's probably over $600 at NM. If you order online it comes to about the same. I got mine used (1 month or so) from M3R.

I emailed nextmod for a quote back in August. They said $620 cash pickup.

Also, this is exactly the sound that I want. Where did you get the race pipe?

It's a Corksport racepipe. Something like $80+ tax + shipping. Cheaper to get a used one. I got it from Hyperion who got it from Azumi.

Thanks guys. I drove it on the 404 and it was quiet when I stepped off the gas and it roared a bit when I stepped on it. I wanted to see what it sounded like in 4th gear at 100km/h so shifted down and pressed the gas. Well it flew quickly to 135 by the time I looked down. I am sure I got at least +10 psychological hp.

If you listen carefully as the car accelerates, that extra sound is still there. It's garage noise. It's pretty quiet.

I'm getting a magnaflow one and Jon from next mod says it might be a special order and if it is ill be getting the racing beat instead and going to do a straight pipe done at aph. Then we can compare

Hey leechee, I'm curious to see which one you get. I think magnaflow is pretty good but I am partial to RB for their workmanship and quality. If you do go with APH take a before and after pic of their work.

would u be able to post a vid minus the garage sounds?

I was thinking about getting the racing beat exhaust as well (not sure about racing pipe atm). I'm totally all for quiet on the highways as well.

How was the exhaust without the racepipe?

RB exhaust with CS sri and without racepipe:

    Still sounds good without racepipe.

Thanks for the videos! Exactly what I was looking for.

It does still sound pretty good with the racepipe. Is it a whole lot louder with the pipe in your opinion?

@Jackal I just picked up a 2010 2.5L and am looking for the same solution, loud when I step on it, but no drone at cruising speeds, this combo sounds like what I need. Is the CS racepipe & RB axleback a fully bolt on solution, or is there some cutting involved?

    Cheers!
