    Oh man, that sucks! Looks like the bearing clearance was too tight. Its important to measure the bearing to journal clearance with a plastigauge when assembling the motor. Good luck man!

    Right on. So what did you do to fix the toast rebuilt engine? Did you just replace the parts or do a fresh rebuild again?

    All I can say is that you have to make sure the bearing clearance on the crank is within spec (plasti gauge) and measure the cam to tappet clearance. If anything is too tight or loose major fail soon follows.

    Had to over bore, thus new over bore pistons. One new rod. New cams. Had to Line hone the head. Pretty well started fresh, not fun......
