    Default Code P2188

As i was driving home today my engine light came on. When i got home i scanned it with my ap and the code is P2188.

I googled the code and it seems that is a (fuel system too rich at idle). My car has is on a stage 1 ots map and i have a cpe nano, cobb tip and a forge bpv.

I bought the car about a year ago and this is the first check engine light. The car seems to be pulling fine and drives as it did before the check engine light.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Same thing happened to me a while back, retighten all the connections and reset the code. Mine went away after I did that so chances are loki is right.

Also check to make sure your BPV is still in full recirc and not venting at all. If you have an after-market boost gauge and a plastic t-joint connected to the tubing and BPV, this could also have cracked and is leaking. Happened to me a year or so ago, but you would notice the loss of power.

I tightened all the connections for my intake and cleared the code on Tuesday November 20th. This morning while driving to work it the engine light came on again with the same code.

I just reflashed it back to the stock tune to see if it comes back. I noticed it came on after I started to really push the car this morning. I was running a bit late lol.

Any idea what this could possibly be?

Correction, the code came on with a stage 1 ots tune.

I just reflashed the stock tune and will see if the light comes back on.

You might need to do the MAF calibration if you haven't, what are your LTFT's?
