just wondering, did you paint the front lip/side skirt/rear flares yourself with color-matched spray paint, or did you get it done professionally? if so, would you mind telling me how much and where you got it done?

car looks great by the way

thanks, the side skirts came with the car but i had them dipped black before. i painted the front lip using paint i got from a guy on this forum that worked at a place called paint circuit IIRC he's in edmonton now. for the flares I had to use the cheap Dupli-Color paint from can tire but i wouldnt recommend it for painting larger area parts tho as it seemed to be very watery. professionally mixed paint in a spray can is the way to go if you want to save some serious money and the results are very good.

yeah i like the look of mine but I prob should have gone with the gloss black since the matte looks pretty dull when it gets dusty.

got some red LED footwell lights today installed by @Hyperion. great job at a VERY reasonable price! he even installed a switch to fit onto the left side of the dash where the dimmer switches are so it looks very OEM pics are a little too bright, I should have turned the flash off lol will take some more shots when i get the chance.

i had the HD lip on the front before but removed it. would the paint actually adhere to it?

You would have to somehow make the rubber harden. Then paint it over. If you paint it flexing it will not adhere to the lip

He might get away with it if he sprays adhesion promoter first then the color
