Rear Tow Hooks

I drive a 2012 Mazda 3 Sport GS-SKY in pearl white. I like the look of having a tow hook on the back of the car both for the looks and function because I plan on lowering the car. I looked underneath the rear of the car to look for the OEM tow hook and notice that the isn't one centre tow hook. Instead there are two OEM tow hook both close to either end of the bumper and they seem to be a bit farther back then normal. Has anyone ever put a tow hook on the back of a 2012 mazda 3? Would you recommend that I put two tow hooks on the back or just one?

dont put one at all.... doesnt look good on our cars. but yes some people have done it. the one on the left i believe. the hook has to be longer than normal since the oem hook is further in than other cars such as the honda civics.

its all up to you if you want to put one on or not.

Ive never liked the look of the rear tow hook. but, if thats what you want I would only install one

I think the idea, as long as its tasteful. just make sure it'll fit like SSM stated

a quick google search for a rear tow hook on a mazda 3 turns up no real results....other then schmats car lol

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they have no function and are predominantly for show.
Also, what function did you think they would serve when you're lowered.

isnt it obvious?? SPARKS!!!!!!! loool. but truely, they serve no purpose. especially the ones that cost below $100. if you really want ones that work, youll need to buy the expensive ones and actually attach it to the frame of the car. i wanted a tow strap for the front...but never found a way to mount it with the plate...not enough room i personally think the rear tow hook is kinda rice....i dunno...kinda like a piercing on the ass
