Default TM3 Dads (and Moms) club

I know there are a few of us around here with rug rats cluttering up our abodes now. Post all your random thoughts, questions, and rants here - and hopefully get some support too!

Let's start with this - our guy has been yakking up lots of food recently (sensitive gag reflex) and while his chair was getting cleaned we had nowhere to sit him yesterday. So, diaper box + toys. Seemed happy.

I LOL'd in my office when my wife sent this photo.

What age did you start start your baby with food? What did you first feed your baby? Seems like there are lots of ready made foods out there (or did you or your wife make something?).
    Cute picture btw!

We started doing solids around 5 months I think but he kept showing skin reactions to it so we were constantly backing off. Now he's 8mo and getting about 1tbs of 1st-stage solids 3 times a day with formula. He's been formula-fed since the first couple of weeks - wasn't getting enough breastmilk.

We do make some of our own but also use the Heinz pureed foods. Some taste awful though and he doesn't like those. When we were in Florida we found Gerber organic stuff and he really liked that, but they don't seem to have the same stuff here. Just things like prunes, pears, sweet potato, peas, carrots etc so far.

^ The PC organic stuff is also quite good. My little guy will eat the fruit but not much else...he just wants whatever we are eating. He's turning 1 on Thursday.

I suggested the PC stuff but wife hasn't ok'd it lol. Our guy is mesmerized whenever we are eating too.

My son has always ate whatever my wife and I are eating, of course we mashed it up though. He was a bit strange as an infant though, never liked warm bottles, hated the whole swaddling thing, it was like he was born a year old already lol.

My little guy is 2 and he already hogs the TV!!

Btw, thanks for the fridge and washer set. So far my son likes playing with it. I'm not sure yet if it's because it's new or he really likes playing with it.

This is when my son was little.

I was there but had to leave, and yes... well worth it..... interesting enough my speed did make it into the picture (the one with the people in it walking around). Last row (last M) next to the left side of Mr. Wilson's CWP speed.

Yeah kids love that play set. One of my friend's son (now 3) runs straight to that thing everytime they visit. You're welcome

Real cutie! I too remember when you left the H4H. It was hard for me to attend that meet as you can imagine but I made it thanks to my wife. My little baby was only 1 or 2 months old.
I agree all the babies look so cute!

I used to get a toonie when I was younger, but apparently kids are getting like 5 bucks...holy crap. My cousin's kids 2 dollars for a front tooth and 5 bucks for a molar or something like that from the tooth fairy.
