Car window installation - LS Rear. How to get window in the door?

I think this is the right place to post this.

So my car got broken into and I'm replacing the window myself. I got the door panel off, and then the panel behind that I removed (but left the electricals attached)

Now I'm trying to get the actual glass into the door. I've tried from the top and through the bottom but neither way gets the glass into the door. Is there a technique I should be using to do this properly?

You have to pull off the trim thats attached to the small rear window. I couldn't tell you how but when my car was broken into that was pulled of to install the other window. As well as some other pieces.

K... so I got the inner and outer triangles off, now trying to figure out if I should keep the weather strip in?

The one attached to the door skin?
I believe that came off to. But cant be sure.

Hmm, still no joy.

Almost ready to give up and pay for it, but that goes against everything I believe in!

Me to. Plus I'm a flat glass installer, still wont attempt car windows.

I have the installation guide, but it would take literally 45 minutes to type it all up. And then there's pictures.
Best to get someone else to do it.

Perhaps you know where I could get the installation guide? It's not just the money....I like knowing how to do things myself.

Somewhere on here is there a guide to installing sound deadening ( dynamat) that involves taking out the window. That could help.

I wouldn't be able to point you to it as I'm on my phone. But it may have been posted by dave2010gt.
