    Default Licence Fee Increase

    I know this was talked about in the news about a year ago or so but I didn't see any discussion about it on here.

    I just got my renewal in the mail and the increase is $8 compared to last year. According to the MOT website this isn't the only increase coming. By 2014 the increase will be $24 bringing the total to $98 from the original $74. Let's give more money to the government!

    If the money was actually used to fix the shitty roads and bridges, etc then fine but I'm sure it won't be.

    When did the fees for the G1-G testing go down? I remember playing 100 for my G1 test.

    That was with your g1 exit test combined.

    Yep, I had to pay the 82 back in December.

    I think they need to make up for the $60 a car cash grab that Ford scraped.

    BTW, ServiceOntario is looking into adding a $2 fee if you are sent a paper renewal notification form. They prefer to go paperless (email notification) so you'll need to sign up for an account here:
