Well my first shipment of LED replacement bulbs came in today. Gotta say, not bad. Not as bright as incandescent but that was gonna be obvious even before I bought them.
Check 'em out!

Very nice, where'd you get yours from? Did you order them online? If so, what site? I tried a pair at a local shop, but they were too wide, and didn't fit in the housing
how many led's per bulb? i dont wanna be hipster but i got 127 LOL
50 shades of silver
It only has 68.... show off haha
Hey man I got them on eBay for super cheap...

I gotta say, for the price... Not bad at all! I wanna try them out tonight and see how they look in the dark.
About 2 weeks, which was wicked. Their estimated time of arrival was about 9 weeks... So I'll call that a win.
I have a set of brake light LEDs on the way too, they only have 27 LEDs on each post. So I'll try them when they come in and if they're not bright enough. I'll send them back and upgrade to a set of dual filament that have 120 LEDs on each.
i have these, but had to solder a new plug end. im hoping to get the aftermarket led tail lights since they dont have a lens covering the bulb. A LOT brighter.

Here's some night shots I took. I'm not a photographer what-so-ever lol
and my favorite for some reason... (nothing to do with with reverse lights)
keep in mind that having more LEDs doesnt mean theyll be brighter. usually the more the LEDs the smaller they are. i got the 127 LEDs because they have a larger surface area of LEDs. so when i got my aftermarket tail lights, itll put more light out when it reflects out. i think the ones i had before were 62 LEDs... i wouldnt say the ones i have now are brighter, but they seem "fuller"
Very nice. I love the look of the white reverse lights, as opposed to the stock yellowish, normal looking lights
I'm running projector led type reverse from next mod.. crazy bright and love the beam. Runs Cree type led
yea, but i personally dont like the look of external light fixtures in the rear. and your led's are different than the ones on the bulbs i have. i have had the idea of putting external leds (the ones you have) on a black bar under the car. then i got lazy and didnt bother lol... like i said before. more led's dont mean theyll be any brighter.
i personally tried the projector leds but the housing in my 1st gen hatch made them useless.... the bulbs are mounted directing outwards so they didnt give out any light... i wanted to install cree led on a custom bulb but then it got crazy expensive for a light that i use for less than 2 minutes. BUT other people will need the extra output so its up to them
I want reverse lights like that!
2004 Mazda3 Sport GT
I have no idea how to edit on this forum...
I meant to say that I put the emblems back, not paying to weld the damn holes on the mazda lol.
Here is where you can find the reverse light LEDs: http://www.vleds.com/universal/drl-f...aux-light.html
And that third brake light is custom contact me if you want one. I bought more than I need and am trying to get rid of the extras.
I think rather than drill into my bumper, I might build a licence plate mount with 6 of these guys wired into my reverse power wiring. Suggestions for Tap Connectors? or am I better off just splicing and soldering with some added heat shrink?
