Speed3 exhaust on an ms3 shouldn't be posted in the speed section anyway so not sure what you're asking

I have a 08 speed3 and I've listened to a number of YouTube clips with both 1 and 2 res deleted and clearly both out is louder but I didn't find one removed to be to loud, just alittle more rumble but not bad.

I deleted both resonators on my genwon and it was amazing with the racepipe installed.

For tge genpu I spent the little bit and ordered a catback..
Didn't feel like hacking the factory exhaust.
I figured if I'm going to spend $100-$150 to delete the resonators I might as well spend a few hundred more and get a full exhaust.

I'd like to have a full TBE but I don't want that loud of an exhaust.

Full turbo back is for performance not sound

You could go with a proper resonated TBE

This thread is pretty rediculous now

not really, unless you are BT, pushing >400whp

stock exhuast is plenty big for fully bolted
Oh damn, that sucks. Oh well, I stopped reading the Speed section because according to certain people only speed owners are allowed to even look at that section.

There is only one resonator in our cars, one resonator and one muffler for us second generation MS3's.

Without the resonator it sounds a way more throaty but the muffler does a good job and still getting rid of some of the noise so I would think you would be happy.

Just listen to all the clips on youtube or on MSF to get an idea of what you kinda of sound you would get with different setups.

By deleting the resonator, would we have issues passing the new E-test?
