I have a 08 speed3 and I've listened to a number of YouTube clips with both 1 and 2 res deleted and clearly both out is louder but I didn't find one removed to be to loud, just alittle more rumble but not bad.
No I'm running a full stock exhaust and just wanting alittle more rumble nothing that's going to be drony "if that's a word lol"
I deleted both resonators on my genwon and it was amazing with the racepipe installed.
For tge genpu I spent the little bit and ordered a catback..
Didn't feel like hacking the factory exhaust.
I figured if I'm going to spend $100-$150 to delete the resonators I might as well spend a few hundred more and get a full exhaust.

I'd like to have a full TBE but I don't want that loud of an exhaust.
come to a speed 3 meet and listen to the different exhaust tones.
Oh damn, that sucks. Oh well, I stopped reading the Speed section because according to certain people only speed owners are allowed to even look at that section.
Sorry guys this doesn't have to be a big discussion I've got the info I was looking for and I thank everyone for that it doesn't have to turn into or leading into a argument lol
No one is arguing
No I know I just didn't want it to get there lol.
OMG A FULL EXHAUST IS NOT ****ING NEEDED OMG
i love the sound of my stock exhaust with res delete...and no cats

im planning to do a reso delete (speed3 gen2), any reputable shop/s ?
Jimmy or Gt Custom Exhaust.
Modifications? I've forgotten more than I remember. Click here for the list.
There is only one resonator in our cars, one resonator and one muffler for us second generation MS3's.
Without the resonator it sounds a way more throaty but the muffler does a good job and still getting rid of some of the noise so I would think you would be happy.
Just listen to all the clips on youtube or on MSF to get an idea of what you kinda of sound you would get with different setups.
By deleting the resonator, would we have issues passing the new E-test?
you can weld one back in after if you don't like it, just gotta pay the dough!
called Street Performance and they told me they are booked for the week...any other shop around Scarborough/Northyork area?
Go to any local muffler shop, its 10" of 2.5" tubing any muffler shop can do it the same...
I payed $40 for mine.
did anyone here tried :
