Seriously. Frankly, I had as much fun as you guys did driving it that week. You don't realize how much you enjoy something like that until it's gone a while. Of course, it's really not much of a car anymore. It's now just a big toy for grown men. I definitely do NOT miss having it as my daily driver, but I'm already looking forward to taking it out again next time.

LOL. I haven't heard of them boosting anything that small yet, but I'll bet it'd be a blast! The FT86 guys are going through all the fun we went through here right now, and they've got dyno results. There's also a Mazda3 in Michigan with one installed. I believe he's waiting for his dyno results before posting about it. I'm definitely going to be using his experience when I put it on one of the cars here.

Back when we were in the thick of things here, I told n00bMeiSter that we could try it out on his car so that'll be the first one if I ever find time to set it up. My summer is rapidly getting booked up.

But you've got a Sky?? And not the Redline version? That DOES sound like fun, and I've got a good friend with a Solstice GXP that I bet would get a kick out of the results.

Ah... heh... less exciting then... but probably more interesting. You can be sure though that if we ever try it, you're taking full responsibility for whatever happens trying to boost that thing.

As I was typing that I was thinking the same thing haha, maybe after a while and things start breaking on them we'll learn the tolerances of the motor

You guys will be interested in this!! One of these Phantom blowers has been installed on a Mazda3 and he's posting about it on the M3R forums.

I've signed up but won't be able to confirm until tonight so I probably won't get involved until tomorrow. Hopefully they don't beat up poor Kirk too badly between now and then.

I'm actually not sure how many Rob is selling just yet or whether there's a waiting period for manufacturing or anything else, but definitely get in touch with him if you want one. Especially now that he's got the installation all worked out for the MZ3.

    Website is here: http://www.phantomsuperchargers.com/

He's got a contact form on it: http://www.phantomsuperchargers.com/contact.html

If you don't hear back from him within a day or so, let me know and I'll get in touch directly. I've got his number but he'd probably prefer I not post it on the InterTubes.

Not sure if I missed something here which prompted that last comment. Were some posts deleted?

To answer geokilla's question, Rob has been concentrating on the BRZ/FRS folks over the past year or so and they're very excited about it. It's gone well beyond POC and speculation there. For the full (currently) 159 page thread there, go here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...39719&page=159

If anyone had any doubts after everything I posted here and on my site, I think their experience should put an end to them. This thing is the real deal.

I'll just assume it was the regular "these things are all a scam!" stuff from people who would normally be correct but who didn't read this whole thread.
