Default Noticed some new scratches after sending my car serviced at dealer

Hi all, I noticed some obvious new scratches when picking up my car this morning from getting it serviced at Mazda dealer yesterday. The longest one is about 5cm and unremovable. Even if I go back to them, I've nothing to proof those scratches are from them...

Anyone had similar experience? So sad

took my car to the dealer for rust repair.

    when I got it back:
-3" long scratch in drivers window tint
    -dome lights don't work
    -radio doesn't work
    -trip computer doesn't work
    -auto locks don't work
    -paint on the rear glass

plus they didn't repair all the approved rust spots.

goes back in tomorrow to see if they can figure out how to reconnect some wires.

they always do a vehicle walk around at my dealer but most the time its because they lean over your car and the coveralls and zippers drag on paint

Always, always insist on a walk around your car with either an adviser or service manager. Have them sign off on either the absence of marks or the existence of some. This is the only way you will have any recourse for marks that show up after servicing. I don't see why there would be an objection to this it protects them as well as you.

your dealer may not have done the work themselves... many mazda dealers don't have body shops and they sublet the work out to a body shop, which means any screw ups happens at the body shop

During one of my oil changes Mazda dealer also scratched my door, but it was more of scuff mark. The were first denying it and saying that is not possible, but I know my car and I definitely didn't have that there. I was mad so I didn't want them to touch it and just told them that they need to be more careful with my car that paid a lot of money for. Then I just hand polished it myself and you couldn't tell, but sounds like your scratches are "non-repairable".

+1 on asking for walk around, I will ask for that myself next time.

You can try to go back but A) they will deny it or B) they will try to fix it and make it worse. I have gone through this process and it really isn't worth it. In my experience the service guys aren't equipped/knowledgeable enough to do proper body work, or even buffing. I would send a pic of the scratches to one of the detailing sponsors on here, and they will give you an idea on how much it will be to repair. You might be lucky and no paint repair will be necessary.
