    Default Aftermarket Side Skirts

I'm generally happy with my 2009 Mazda 3 hatch GX beccause the 2009 base model came so well equipped, but I'm really feeling like I'm lacking side skirts!

I'm not willing to drop too much cash right now and the only OEM skirts I can find on ebay are expensive AF. I've been to local breakers yard but there is a shortage of 3s and the way the yard is set up side skirts are a minimum of dangerous to almost impossible to remove.

Since OEM are so expensive I'm looking into aftermarket for cost reasons etc. Does anyone have any pictures of mazda 3 hatches with JUST aftermarket side skirts? I'm not talking about skirt extensions or about a pimped 3 with an entire body kit but like a relatively stock maybe with rims and aftermarket skirts.

Personally, OEM blows all of these out of the water with looks. However, #2 looks best IMO.

    Try a wreckers for skirts?

Yeah, I think OEM looks the best as well, but I'd also go for #2 out of those 3.

OEM with TM3 discount from a forum sponsor may not be as $$$ as you think.

E-bay ones may need to be painted, then there's shipping and possibly duty. Also may not have installation Hardware and instructions.

OEM comes painted from the factory so the match is spot on and all HW is included even installation instructions if you are mechanically inclined. Took me about 3 hours to do on my 2nd gen and I was being anal over lining up and mounting.

op Im happy you asked cause I was literally about to ask the same thing last night. Dont get 3, that looks way too crazy, 1 is less more intense but still dont really like it, so Id go with 2.

Also consider Garage16 sells sideskirts as well, according to their site. I havent contacted them yet to confirm. They look like the sames ones your looking at.
In interest of saving a thread. I was going to ask whether anyone has any of the below installed. The pics are fine and dandy but Id like a full on shot of the entire car before I decide. I too agree you cant beat OEM look but so damn expensive.

The oem side skirts aren't very expensive. I can't remeber exact price cause it was four years ago but it was around $450 and they come painted and all hard ware is included plus instructions as sonicboy said

I purchased mine through Mazda of Toronto but Budd's was offering the same TM3 price. I'm sure it's the same for all the Dealership sponsors here on the forum.

Some dealers don't know you can buy it as a package... It's under Mazda accessories.

i had to explain to my dealer that it exists lol... They gave me a discount because of the hassle (15%).
