Ahh I see. I love the sound of it. I bet you little loki in training loves it too.
They say I'm an addict but I don't have a problem with alcohol or drugs. I'm an addict because I can't live without bass. Car audio is my addiction. And it will never change.

Weird question regarding my turn table. Some turn tables have a heavy weight which presses the album down (my dad's has a hockey puck shaped weight). Mine doesn't have one. Is there any benefit to this weight?

Supposed to reduce vibrations, better sound etc.

They're about 100 bucks. I've considered it but doubt it's really such a drastic change to justify the cost

Ouch. No thanks. With the exception of a few slightly warped used LPs, I think I'll be fine without it.

Any mod can answer this but...

Is there some type of restriction in place that prevents you from editing an old post?

Ie: instead of adding a new reply to a ride thread or something, can we just edit the original post or does a special request or some method need to done?

I believe it's a 24-hour period for which you can edit your post. Past that, you lose the capability. However a mod can still edit it for you at any time, of course.

Oh great Loki, I have 2 inquiry's for you.

    1) Will driving on street car tracks be detrimental to my alignment? I avoid them when driving on queen west, but sometimes a cyclist ect. Causes me to move over and the tire gets caught in the tracks and the steering is jerked sideways.

    2) I would like to repay a friend who showed me great kindness the other day. He likes original spiced rum (capt. Morgans). What can I get at the LCBO which is similar but much nicer?

    Thanks cpt. Loki

    1) I don't see why driving on street car tracks will mess up your alignment. Sure you can get a tug on the wheel from the tracks but nothing significant,

    2) If they are a fan of the flavoured rums, I'd suggest Angostura 1919. Has a Vanilla spiced flavour which is quite nice. @Mr Wilson would agree

I would agree, very much so. Little harder to find, but Admiral Rodney is quite nice too.

Get to pick a new work phone...open to pretty well anything telus has for sale now. They've always just supplied Blackberry's (I'm currently on a Q10) which I've liked due to physical keyboard but this time they are letting us pick whatever we want. I'm thinking one of the S6's? What does loki recommend?

They don't lock our phones down at all, the only thing they have is remote wipe capability and force us to have a password on the phone.

IMO, the iphones are easier to use. At least for someone who isn't interested in doing too much.

I could be wrong, but at the end of the day I don't pick my phone

I love using my iPhone, and I am not a huge fan of androids. I understand the customization, I just don't really care to do that much with my phone. I want it to work all the time for me, and text, send email, and answer phone calls.

Think of it this way. The iPhone is your grandparents house that looks so nice with the plastic covers on all the furniture. And android is the messy bedroom. Both are comfortable in there own way. Just depends on what you want

My uncle recently installed an LED light bar on his Silverado.

I was interested in getting one for winter nighttime driving up north. Only interested as my grandmother is 82 now, living by herself 30 min down a dead end muskoka road. I anticipate driving up most/some weekends to check up on her and make sure shes ok especially in the winter.
It would be mounted on my roof rack and would only be installed prior to going up.

    Yea / nea?
