Putting on decals from parts that you bought is that rice???

Hey everyone, I have recently bought Eibach Prokits springs and a Hypertech sport power programmer, both of these parts I love and am very proud of, they each came with accompaning decals which I have been back and forth on deciding to put them on? I have read many posts by members and I can clearly see that most members do not like decals and prefer a "clean" look. So is it rice to put on decals of parts which you have bought and installed?

well f*ck LOL. i got this and even i question it from time to time. BUT i kinda like it cuz it makes my car stand out in the back. i might eventually rip it all off or get a new hatch

Rice is putting on decals for parts you don't have. I.e. putting a RAYS sticker on your car, but running replica wheels.

imo, it doesnt matter.

but for me. i had them on for a while. then i ripped them off as i outgrew the look and i dont need the extra attention from the police.

not a fan of stickers either unless they are the usual "baby on board", or supporting our troops stickers.

Careful if you have to many stickers because people get distracted and might rear-end you!!(maybe..)

Everyone's comments basically have the same theme, and mine is also along the same line.

"RICE" means different things to different people. Modding cars has always been and should be in terms of doing what you love. Alot of people dont like decals...... But all of my cars have had decals, because I like the look of it.

Do I care what other's say. Somewhat, but not to the point that I'll alter the look to please someone else. You gotta have tough skin to have this as a hobby.

+1 to that. Personally, I like clean cars without decals, cars with decals all the way to sticker bombed. There are several niches in car modding and I respect them all.

To the OP, I in no way see how it would be rice to rock decals of manufacturers of parts that you have installed on your ride. If they weren't on your car I'd say its a different story.

Respect p-o-g-i !!! Bottom line for me is that I'm really proud of my prokits the stance of my ride is much better now, I was leaning towards putting on the decals anyways, plus I dropped abit of coin for these parts and I do want some attention.

lol i'm in the same boat as you OP. i bought 2 each of Magnaflow and Koni decals to go with the 2 TEIN decals I got with my springs. I was thinking of putting them on the front doors near the moldings but haven't done it yet cause I couldnt decide on the loction and I didnt want to look too rice. i may just put them on eventually or just one of them
