My parent drove my car....and hit the curb.... head:
Guess now I have to live with the rash on my wheel - but I'm wondering if it is still safe to drive with this tire? Got the chunk of rubber came off...

Your fine, the Barums have a rim guard, so thats most of whats damaged, not actual sidewall.
you will be fine, if you notice it start to bulge at that spot then you should replace it.

Moral of the story: don't let your parents drive you car!... Ever!
Thanks for the reply guys. Yeah. I was little worried too but I'm in a situation where she has to drive mine... and shes pretty good driver.. oh well. Things happen, and can never blame the parents. I'm sure I've done something worse when I was young.
I'll first try to get rid of the yellow paint off from the rim and see what I'm going to do...

okay. reviving my thread.
any suggestion of fixing the rim...??
they ook powder coated. chances are youll need to re-powder coat them after the fix
That rash looks like a powdercoat will clear it up. If you cant do that now then I think the only option is to sand it down and/or use the filler thing and paint over it. I used Duplicolor's Graphite(?) wheel paint for my center caps and they're PRETTY Damn close in color (probably the same but first time doing anything paint related).
