You can feel free to create a ride thread in the `Member's rides` section in the lounge within the multimedia subforum. There you will be able to discuss and share ideas about your car and post pics to your heart's content.

    Car looks good!

haha didn't realize the multimedia section. anyways, finally going to get the car tinted and put on the window visors. Will post more pictures when I get a chance to take some "real" photos with my good camera.

Also thinking painting the brakes caliper dark yellow/orange? What do you think?

Thats a good choice. I might go for that once I decide to dip the wheels black with glossifiers. Just had the windows tinted today by the tint boys in stoney and bought the g16 visors. Looking good and functional!

    Looks great.

As stated. I think you should start a ride thread. For no reason other then I like the car and the colour ( I prefer black but the red is starting to wear on me. To the point when i buy a speed it will most likely be red. )

I never thought my first car was going to be red too, but I like it alot especially with the car tinted. I will start a ride thread as soon as I get sometime to take a few more photos. Maybe I will keep track of the little appearance mod and DIYs along the way.

To the thread above "too slow" lol it is stock after all, so far I'm limited by $ and the premium I paid for extra warranty. Perhaps when I get another car a few years done the line, I will mod the car to hell hahah. For now, it will stay stock

    =)

sad news from last night when I had a closer inspection of the tint job . I came to discover this:

My guess is the guy (whom I shall not name) cut the film too deep as he traced around the back window... ended up with a 12 inch long razor scratch on my trunk! After much debate with my inner perfectionism, I ended up using the touch up pen and only clear coated the scratch. It is now less noticeable, but still visible from a side angle...

Also going back to get another window redone, as I found more than one clump of debris and fibre... bad luck?

    Very nice.

However, I got SUPER excited because I thought this was going to be the "first photo of the new 3" aka the first bonifide photo of the 2014, lol.

Damn I'd talk to the shop. not sure where you got it done but Audio heaven is awesome (and it's digitally cut).

Start the ride thread and post up as your car makes the tranistions. I know I forgot to do that and now I dont have before afters D:

Make them fix it, it's pretty obvious this was caused when they trace cut the tint, this is old school way of tinting, I think most good shops have a computer program for cutting tint.

I'm going back to see them this weekend. Will see what they say and hopefully they can fix the window that has more than usual amount of debris.

Will post photos soon. I promise. LOL
