    Default idle and running rattle

So I recently was working in the engine bay installing a set of grounding wires and the big3 wires.

While running an alternator wire underneath the intake, it contacted metal and shorted against something.

Could that have fried the Intake Manifold electricals?

I ask because now I have an idle and running rattle similar to in this video..

    and

It sounds like it's coming from the belt area, but I could be wrong.
Immediately after my mods, I didn't notice this, but about a day later, I did notice the rattle. As the engine is faster on the highway, the rattle speeds up and eventually gone.

    Thoughts?

do you still get power on that plug? check it, if you don't, obvious course of action is to check the fuses, but if you do, i'd say you have something more serious going on, you should take it in.
