Default Putney's Hamilton - Suspension, Alignments, Wheel Bearings, etc.

    Hi all,

A few weeks ago my wife-to-be clocked a curb. Almost immediately, we noticed a whine/grind noise. A friend at Travale tire recommended a suspension shop in Hamilton, "Putney's"

I had Megan bring her Mazda5 there.

Their prices are great. (4 wheel for 99, 2 wheel for 60) and they also replaced a wheel bearing on it at the same time, on the same day. Total bill was 300 all included (wheel bearing+Labour, 4 wheel alignment)

I sent my fiancee there alone and she was totally fine - They even gave her a ride home and teased her to stop running into things. Thumbs up in my books! Her brother drove her back later that afternoon, and it was all done. Great work, Great service, and a really fair price.

He let me know that Oil changes for a Mazda3 is 35 bucks + tax. ... not 74. lol

I was told to ask for Doug, but he retired. I got his son who bought the shop from him - A Family business! Regardless of who I got, It was a great experience. I'll be bringing my car there for an alignment when I have a hundred bucks to spare.

Doug was The original owner, and his son (Paul) bought the company from him. Family owned since 1936! (I'm guessing a company that old stands behind their work. lol)

I was referred to them by Dave @ Travale Tire, so maybe mention that so they know that the business came from that direction.

I e-mailed him to let him know I posted this review - he's going to look out for TM3 Stickers. I encouraged him to support the forum if he sees traffic from us. It'd be nice to have a "de facto" place in Hamilton to get work done!

Next time I'm in there I'll take a couple shots with my cellphone.
