    Default Rear motor mount

Check this out, comparison of stock to a cp-e stage 2...more interesting is just the amount of movement of the stock motor mount.

Sweet video, and good timing as well, as I got to experience what that change in movement felt like today as well

Definitely a recommended mod from my end. Makes the car just feel so much more connected.

DIY for install. A shop under $100.

You'll get slightly better throttle response, even on an auto, and will keep you from getting wheel hop.

Also makes your car louder. I have an intake and only a 62 duro RMM and people ask me once in a while if I have an exhaust.

    +1 to reducing wheel hop.

It's too bad the cpe stage2 RMM (the one in the video above) is only for the Speed3 models It's a vastly superior design to the stage 1 wishbone style.

I bought the corksport 'race' 70&80dr RMM, and its a gorgeous billet design like the CP-e mount

The stage 2 Cp-e mount actually re-orients the bushing vertically. There aren't any other mounts like it on the market as far as I know. The corksport is like the stage 1 cp-e mount.

Are RMMs not interchangeable between MZ3 and MS3? I have previously had a Speed3 RMM in my car..

Most MZR engines have the same RMM location and fitment, the bracket that it attaches to might be slightly different from model to model.

I sold my cpe stage 2 to buy a jbr 88 duro. The cpe was not stiff enough, and the jbr could be stiffer. I would be happy with a solid mount.

That's just a stage 1 RMM - wishbone style RMM like everyone else. The one in this thread is the cpe Stage 2 - totally different design and vastly superior.

A solid mount in the rear isn't going to stop all engine movement. Get the passenger and transmission mounts too and you'll be happy (or annoyed with the vibes lol).

The stage 2 cp-e *only* works for the mazdaspeed3. The tranny bolt pattern is different than the regular 3's.

The stage 2 mount is significantly more expensive as well. Last time I asked cp-e, they had no plans of making a version for the regular 3's.
