Vapor-ware as far as I'm concerned. Think about the ridiculous engineering needed in the Veyron AND they sell each one at a loss. I'll be impressed when they come out with some reasonable numbers.

It's more like when you can already buy anything you want without having to think if you can afford it, people start looking for crazy things to spend on out of boredom. The real sad part isn't the lack of sense but why they don't spend on things that actually help the world.

this thing will be like all the rest of Dubai: a total facade. nothing but smoke and mirrors and shoddy construction.

You can tell they arent serious (or anywhere CLOSE to being even prototype ready) by the resoundingly pathetic quality of their concept vehicle. The nose fin wasn't even attached (see it move at 1:16) and the thing had crappy little honda civic disc brakes. This thing's only a slightly evolved sketch from an industrial designers notebook. Doesnt even look like they hired competent modellers to build the concept vehicle either. Taking stupid peoples money is the easy part

I concur on this fact, the boys over at TOP GEAR would destroy this thing or at least run the rubber right off the car like they have done in the past with other super cars.

I like how the rear wheel sits nice and flush with the fender. Other than that, its plain stupid. Anyone else noticed the 90degree bents in the exhaust at 1:45.

They should have sourced a nice v12, given it close to 1000hp. I bet they would have sold more than 3 cars.
