    hi
    i am new to this forum and need some help that i got HID's and i dont want my HID's to be on every time so thinking to disconnect my DRL from low beam and connect them to the fog lights. i search many threads and forums but didn't get any specific technique to do it my self so if some one can help me or give me some wiring picture or anything regarding this issue that i will be thankfull

    You'd have to do some probing around to find out which wires are controlling what, but the most robust solution would be to have your fog lights trip a new relay, which would then be used to turn on the HIDs. You'll have to splice into the fog light harness, which isn't the end of the world. Then simply run a new fused wire from the battery to the common terminal of the relay, and your HID ballasts to the NO terminal of the relay. Should work like a charm.
