Default Head Room w/ Moon roof

Anyone ever notice not much head room on a hatch with a moon roof?

Yeah it decreases it a bit. When test-driving the 2nd-gen car w/moonroof, I felt that there was sufficient space whereas in the 1st-gen car I'd felt a little cramped (I'm 6'1-ish) and thus had my sedan sans moonroof. My '12 has the moonroof though.

I find in the speeds there is much more room without the sunroof...are the standard 3s the same cabin height as the speed? In the new car I ordered, I had to opt for the sunroof package as my head was brushing the ceiling without the sunroof. Cha ching those a%$holes.

really? I have a moon roof in my gen1 and I am 6'2 I find it fine...you can lower the seat a fair bit in mine although the up and down adjustment might only be a GT thing maybe?

No I always lower my seat most of the way lol. Lower center of gravity and all that! It's not that I didn't fit, more that I felt slightly cramped, whereas in the '12 there seemed to be more headroom (when comparing moonroof-equipped cars). It was a few years apart but that was my impression.

interesting...I can't really judge as I have only been in my 08 car with a moonroof..first of my vehicles to have one. And I have never sat in a second gen

with the seat fully down and slightly back it's liveable and although I recently drove a Honda Civic and there was MUCH more headroom. It's a slight complaint although not major....I'm 5'8" tall although most of my height is not in my legs....

Mines fine and I'm 6'3, seats all the way back and leaned back a fair amount. My girlfriend, a kinisiologist, always tries to correct it. Sometimes my hair might touch the roof a tad.
