AH, I may need to look into this Signature Club - I really enjoy the 10 Point.

    Lately I've also enjoyed:

    Bitter Oldfecker's "Strutter" (bottle 600 of 816)
Rogue Ale x Voodoo Donut's "Chocolate Peanut Butter & Banana Ale"
    Goose Island's "312"
Sawdust City's "Long, Dark Voyage to Uranus"
…and because I live near Barrie most of Flying Monkey's beers.

Guiness is by far my fave.

    my top list would be

    Lech
    Dab
    Fax
    Becks
    Lowenbrow
    Spaten
    Harp
    Heineken
And many others I cant remember.

Believe it or not though on a regular basis I drink the piss they call coors light. Cause its better then working out and I drink to much for expensive beers.

Old enough. What does age have to do with what you drink?

I drink Coors because I like the taste of it; it's not skunky like many other beers. Sleeman Honey is also good!

I've tried different brands of beer and just wasn't a fan of the taste.

Beer is supposed to have that certain aroma, flavour & taste, because of what it's made with(the hops & barley). By your above comment I take it that you truly are not a fan of beer at all. Water may be your thing(essentially that's what coors light is..... it has no flavour)

I got turned off of steam whistle very quickly. I had it on 4 separate occasions and each time it was skunked. I now associate the taste with it. Had the same experience with Stella.

If I am at a local bar, I drink Rickards Red exclusively. I find their beer on tap (NOT bottled) is nothing short of perfect for me.

For bottled beer, I usually stick to Heineken in the winter and Corona w/lime in the summer. Sure, its not 'sophisticated' beer, but you can't beat $24/24 and I enjoy it as well. Don't ask me why, but I hate drinking beer out of brown bottles with paper labels... doesn't feel classy.
Canada gave us rust and DRL. Thanks for nothing Canada!

    Creemore is my go-to.
Stella is great during the summer.
Started drinking Barking Squirrel 'cause it was on sale at our Rotary meetings, good stuff.
    Been liking Tankhouse recently.
Can't forget Spitfire and Old Peculiar from the UK. Get them in the LCBO.
Zywetec (sp?) is some good Polish stuff too.

Never say no to a pint of guiness. Aparently the bar at the end of my street pours a good guiness. Have to try it

Finding a decently poured guiness in Toronto is very difficult. It's not even bar to bar. Its tender to tender.

A few reasons...younger drinkers can't afford the premium beers usually and generally won't go out to places that have them on tap (nice pubs and restaurants). Plus they're still in the dude let's get drunk phase, in which case any beer is good. The other part is just growing up, becoming cultured and experiencing different things in the world.

Being that coors light is your go to beer, suggests you are probably under 21 years old and probably in school.

Mmm, some of those mentioned creemore and steam whistle and tankhouse...time I go out for a pint.

If anyone is feeling adventurous, try peculiar beer from the granite brewery store at mt. Pleasant and eglinton. My friend got me jug, yes it comes in a jug from their brewery in Halifax and it was crazy, nice Christmas season beer.

To each their own, maybe he really likes coors?

When I hear the word "cultured" in reference to beer, I like to think of brews from around the world like Czech or South Africa, not locals like steam whistle or mill st :-P
    Have you seen my stapler?

Maybe lol was just a guess.

And sure, you try those beers when travelling abroad. Always sample the local cuisine

Now we are talking! I totally agree about most of the North American beer, it's really like water and barely any flavour. I grew up in Poland so I like the actual taste of beer. My favourite beers are from Belgium, but I like Polish and Czech beers also.

    Some of my favourites:

    Chimay
    Leffe
    Stella Artois
    Lech
    Tyskie
Zywiec (Aitch that's how you spell it )
Zloty Bazant (I stopped drinking it after Czech's beat us in soccer game )
    Corona (good for summer )
Rickards Red (good on tap in a pub)

Also I usually go to LCBO and buy individuals bottles from imported stuff, but by now I tried most of the ones they carry in Waterloo.
2010 Mazda 3 GS (daily driver)
    2008 Mercedes-Benz C230 4MATIC Sport + Premium Package (wife's car)
1991 Honda Civic Hatchback DX (parted and wrecked)

Im 27.. Just because a brew is more expensive, that doesn't mean it taste better.. I've tried different beers and did not like any of them. They were either too heavy, too frothy, or skunky. Coors is lighter without that heavy after taste. You may not like it, but that's your opinion. The topic in this thread was top beer.. Not "shit talk people for their choices".
