BIC America subs have good reviews too at a fraction of the cost. Could run dual subs

No room for dual subs.
I will probably get the Klipsch R-110SW or R-112SW to match the Reference Premiere speakers, I'm not really interested in looking at other brands when in this case I want a matched setup that looks good in the great room. This isn't my main HT location, so it doesn't have to be the perfect setup, just something to enhance TV/Movies and be able to listen to music while cooking/entertaining.
The R-112SW is rated 24-125hz +/- 3db...plenty. The R-12SW which is the lower end big box store "reference" line is a steaming pile of turd.
The RP-160m's came at lunch time today, hooked them up briefly and had a quick listen...they sound superb and actually extend fairly low with a bit of bass. More than I expected out of bookshelf speakers, not to be compared to full size floor standing speakers or a setup with a sub, but actually decent for music.
there's a whole other world of sound (audible and non-audible) sub 24 Hz.
the Force push/pull in TFA is 13 Hz, for example, and that's the ish you feel not hear.
something to think about when piecing together the 5.1 replacement (5.2.2 minimum )
I don't know of any subs that go down to 13hz though

depends how much you're willing to spend
SVS PB-16 Ultra
go to Tech Info and peep the chart
Yeah a whopping $2500.
I'd look for something used like this; http://hometheaterhifi.com/volume_2_4/v2n4t.html
You could pick one up for a fraction of the cost, and its top quality, I know I built them.
In frequency testing, and in most cases these actually went below 18hz.
I have one, 22 years old and still pounds n sounds amazing, ...but its not for sale.

I already have a massive home built 15" sub in a box the size of a small desk with 1800rms of QSC power behind it that plays down below 20hz...I know what big subs are like. The thing is, you need source material with content that low and yeah some movie explosions might get down there but honestly for 99.99% of listening, especially music, even getting down below 30-40hz is plenty.
And AGAIN, this isn't my primary HT, it's something that needs to be aesthetically pleasing and just decent enough. I don't need an SVS PB-16 Ultra to go with a little set of 6.5" bookshelf speakers for listening to background music or tv shows around the house.
I need an SVS pb-16 Ultra

The novel meaning one sentence? Uh...
@loki
Old pic from when it was first built probably 10-12 years ago, it's down in my basement not hooked up at the moment. It has a Resonant Engineering 15" HC driver in it rated for 1200rms but takes every watt of the QSC RMX1850hd without a problem. The enclosure IIRC is somewhere in the 5-6 cubic foot range, tuned to 25hz. Built out of 3/4" MDF, internally braced, with a double thick (1.5") front baffle. Weighs around 150lbs (remember, no internal amp).
I used to built a lot of subwoofer enclosures back when I was in school...was fun.
