    Do you have access to an AC source? If so, get a trickle charger.

    If not, either disconnect the battery which will leave your alarm system off and your car vulnerable, or leave it connected and relatively safe.

    Chances are the temps won't go too low in the next month, and you should be okay. The battery will be drained pretty low but nothing a boost won't fix.

    Take the car for a good run with little or no accessories on to charge the battery up good just before you take off on holiday also.

    Also forgot to mention that the car will be parked un an underground heated garage, not sure if that helps the cause. Thanks for the response.

    disconnecting the battery is still the smart thing to do, that way the battery doesn't get drained more than it has to... even a slightly drained battery can cause cell damage if not recharged slowly and carefully... depending solely on the car's alternator to recharge the battery is not only damaging to the alternator but also the battery... they will both work for a while but their lifespans are greatly shortened
